Our Story

Early 2016

We both swiped right on Tinder – Peter was living and working in Dundee while Heather was studying in Perth

After texting for some time, we met and had a date over the course of two days.

After seeing each other most weekends for months, we finally admitted that we may, in fact, be in a relationship.

We took our first holiday together! A 12 hour bus journey from Dundee to London to see Green Day at Hyde Park. We’re not taking the bus again.

We officially moved in to our first flat in Falkirk and started making our life together.

We went on a holiday together, with Heather’s family, to Portugal. There was a great deal of family bonding between everyone.

We bought our first house together, which, if you ask Peter, is a much bigger deal than the wedding.

We welcomed our first gremlin into the household: Megaera “The Fury” Murray-Chalmers.

We got Meg a goblin of her own: Zagreus Murray-Chalmers. Peter said this is the last one because he doesn’t want to be outnumbered.

After Peter waited far too long to ask, Heather finally said “Are you joking??” on the banks of Colintraive.
